Deployment Automation for Websphere 7.0 now general available.

Xebialabs, the deployment automation company for Java applications, today announced the release of Deployit for IBM WebSphere 7.0. With this new release early adopters of WebSphere version 7 can now benefit from the strong deployment automation capabilities of Deployit.

Features include:

• Creation, modification, and deletion of clusters and servers, including setting their properties.
• Initial deployment of applications on clusters and servers, including the deployment of Java EE resources and the generation of WebSphere plugin configurations for Apache.
• Supported Java EE resources are:

JDBC DataSources
JMS resources for WebSphere MQ
Shared Libraries
WebSphere Web Servers

• Redeployment and undeployment of applications.
• Also deployed: static contents to Apache, application configuration files to specified directories.
• Deployment to new servers/clusters in an environment.
